Putin’s cultural genocide in Ukraine

Last Sunday CBS’s 60 Minutes included an excellent report on Russia’s purposeful and malevolent destruction of Ukraine’s heritage.  Putin’s objective in Ukraine is not only the seizing of geographical territory, but also the wiping out of a nation, a nationality, and the erasing of everything Ukrainian.

He has stated his imaginary and false view of history over-and-over but it is important to know those statements are not just words – he is trying to eliminate a people and country that don’t fit his maniacal view of the world.

While we may have known it is happening, the numbers and sheer evil involved in the destruction is infuriating and sickening.  60 Minutes does a very good job of reporting this reality.
