Will America’s Venezuela Campaign Impact Russia’s War on Ukraine?

REGISTER

The U.S.-Ukraine Foundation invites you to join an Alert Webinar examining the global implications of recent U.S. actions in Venezuela and their potential impact on Russia’s ongoing war against Ukraine.

On January 3, during Operation Resolve, the United States intervened in Venezuela, removed Nicolás Maduro from power, and transferred him to the United States for trial. While elements of Maduro’s government remain in place, President Trump stated that the United States would administer Venezuela until a transition of power occurs.

International reaction has been mixed and, in some cases, sharply critical. This webinar will assess whether—and how—these developments may affect Russia’s strategic position, global energy dynamics, and continued Western support for Ukraine.
