D.C. Celebrates Ukraine's Independence Day

On Saturday, August 27, Washington, D.C. will celebrate Ukraine's Independence Day!

Join us in a rally and parade to celebrate Ukrainian heritage, culture, and liberty.

August 24 will also mark 6 months of the full-scale invasion, which Russia launched in Ukraine on Feb. 24. We will commemorate all the Ukrainian heroes and victims of Russia's war.


Where: By the White House, in Lafayette Square
When: Saturday, August 27 at 4 PM

Event program:
-- 4:00 PM - Event begins at Lafayette Square featuring rally, speeches, and musical program
-- 5:15 PM - Parade begins
-- 6:00 PM - Rally continues at secondary location (to be determined in the next couple of days)

Safety is our first priority.
If there is risk of lightning, the event will be moved to a different venue, rescheduled for the next day (Sunday, August 28), or canceled. All changes will be announced on the event's Facebook page.
