SUTARUK SCHOLARSHIP ANNOUNCEMENT 2020-2021

The U.S.-Ukraine Foundation invites interested students from Dubno, Netishyn and Slavuta who will be completing their high school education to apply for a Scholarship established by the Sutaruk Foundation.

Students from Dubno, Netishyn and Slavuta who will be ENTERING University in the fall of 2020 can fill out an application online NOW. To access the application form click here.

Please complete the application fully and legibly. Incomplete or illegible application will be eliminated.

The Application Deadline is NOT LATER THAN Friday, April 10, 2020.

All applications post marked after this date will be disqualified.

INDICATIVE SCHEDULE

OF SUTARUK SCHOLARSHIP AWARD PROCESS 

IN 2020-2021 ACADEMIC YEAR:

STEP 1: Filing the application forms – By April 10, 2020.  Most of those students who send the questionnaire in time will be invited to the next stage of the Sutaruk Scholarship process.

STEP 2: Interview – April 13-24, 2020.  We will invite you for a Zoom-interview at a specified time.

STEP 3: Admission to higher educational institution — September 30, 2020 (or later; to be confirmed after lifting of the Quarantine). Please send before this date: 1). The official document that confirms that you are enrolled in the first year of university; 2). Certificate of completion of a secondary general education together with Annex; 3). In the case of paid education — a copy of the check, receipt or agreement that shows the cost of your studying.  If your study is paid by the state budget — skip this point.

STEP 4: Delivery of Sutaruk Scholarship 2020-2021 academic year — May 2021.  You will be invited to receive the Sataruk Scholarship at this time.

Over the past 14 years, the U.S.-Ukraine Foundation has awarded $690,000 in grants in support of students in the Ukrainian communities of Dubno, Netishyn and Slavuta.
