Film Screening: “The Trial – The State of Russia vs. Oleg Sentsov”

Max Tuula will be in DC with his latest documentary, “The Trial: The State of Russia vs. Oleg Sentsov”. Oleg Sentsov is a journalist and a film maker from Crimea who was arrested by the Russian government, convicted of terrorism and imprisoned for 20 years as a result of him standing up against the annexation of Crimea. Oleg Sentsov is now on his 44th day of a hunger strike.
American Councils for International Education (ACIE) will host a screening of this film
The documentary is mostly in the Russian language (very little English and Ukrainian) with English subtitles. Duration – 70 minutes.
