Doing Business – US & Ukraine Military Industrial Companies

You are invited to attend a U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC) sponsored working luncheon “Doing Business – U.S.& Ukraine Military Industrial Companies” Roundtable, with Pavlo Bukin, General Director and Sergii Omelchenko, First Deputy General Director, Ukroboronprom.You will not want to miss this very unique opportunity to meet with the two top officials of Ukroboronprom and listen to their presentation about this major Ukrainian government enterprise, about reforms in the defense industry and about their interest in expanding business ties between Ukraine government and private military industrial companies and U.S. private military industrial companies.
The Ukrainian State Concern “Ukroboronprom” was created in 2010 for management of the enterprises of the military-industrial complex. Today, SC “Ukroboronprom” unites more than 100 enterprises-participants in 5 major defense industry sectors, particularly in armament and military equipment development and manufacture, scientific research and export-import operations.
“Ukroboronprom” has more than 10 design bureaus, engaged in development, design and research, enabling State Concern to implement new solutions and innovations. State Concern employs approximately 80,000 highly skilled people. Many employees have high academic degrees in engineering, applied mathematics, physics, etc. Realizing the fact, that innovation requires skilled, educated specialists, State Concern management has initiated long-term cooperation with leading educational institutions of the country, the list of which is constantly increasing.
The Roundtable will be co-moderated by John Falk, President, Vigilent, Inc and Morgan Williams, President. U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC).
