OLHA BERSHTEIN AND YEVHEN BONDARENKO WIN IN 2011
Two award winners were announced in 2011!
The winners of the 2011 competition are:
Olha Bershtein, Researcher of Mathematical Physics at the Physical-Technical Institute of Low Temperature, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, for her work, "Representation Theory and Harmonic Analysis on Symmetric Quantum Confined Areas."
Yevhen Bondarenko, Assistant Chair of Algebra and Mathematical Logic of the Mechanics and Mathematics Faculty of the Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University, for his work, "Self-similar Groups and their Marginal Dynamic Systems."
The winners were declared at the October 14, 2011 meeting of the Kyiv Mathematical Colloquium, held at the Institute of Mathematics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, and the November 2, 2011 meeting of the General Physics Seminar, Physico-Technical Institute of Low Temperature, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in Kharkiv.
