A hi-tech initiative that will connect Ukraine's youth to the world through computer literacy. The project will supply second-hand refurbished computers to Ukrainian educational institutions through the Kobzar Society of Lehighton, PA, will launch Internet connected computer labs in Ukraine, and will establish free educational IT programs.
Interns at USUF work in U.S.-Ukrainian relations, explore career choices, learn the political process, and receive valuable educational experiences.
Kennan Kyiv Project
The Foundation assists the Kennan Institute of the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars in organizing seminars and conferences in Kyiv for Ukrainian academics in the social sciences.
Kovaluk Scholarship Fund
Established by the family of Melania Denys Kovaluk, this fund helps deserving students from the village of Zabolotivci (Lviv oblast) to continue their education on a university level.
Maryniuk Scholarship Fund
Established by Andrew and Luba Maryniuk, this fund helps deserving students from Zheldets (Lviv oblast) continue post-secondary school studies.
Sutaruk Scholarship Fund
The Foundation established the Sutaruk Scholarship Fund in December 2005 for the benefit of students in Nityshyn and Slavuta (Khmelnytskyj oblast) and Dubno (Rivne oblast).
Youth Leadership Program
This special week-long program introduces a select group of college students to essential elements of U.S.-Ukraine relations, leadership, and public policy at meetings and discussions with key players at some of DC's key institutions.
