Kharkiv National Automobile and Highway University
Founded in 1930, the University has trained over 50,000 alumni who now work in 56 different countries. Today, 8,000 students study in the Automobile, Mechanical, Road-Construction, Transportation Systems, Business & Management, and Computer Technology faculties.

National Aerospace N.Ye. Zhukovskyi University Kharkiv Aviation Institute
Founded in 1930, KhAI has since trained over 60,000 engineers and more than 80% of the specialists with higher education who work in the Ukrainian aerospace sector.  It is the only university in Ukraine that provides a full cycle of higher education in aviation and aerospace science.

Kharkiv National University of Construction and Architecture
Kharkiv National University of Construction and Architecture provides education, training, research and consultancy in civil and industrial engineering, architecture, mechanical engineering, technology and manufacture of building materials, ecology, and more.

Kharkiv State Academy of Culture
Established in 1929, the Academy has faculties of Library and Information Science, Document Studies and Information Management, Management, Cultural Studies, Music and Art, Theatre Art, Cinema and Television Arts, and Choreographic Art.

Kharkiv National University of Economics
KhNUE is the largest higher educational and research institution of economics in eastern Ukraine.  The University provides a full range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in such specialities as economy and business, management, public administration, informatics and cybernetics, computer sciences, and tourism.

Kharkiv State University of Food Technology and Trade
KhSUFT is the only school of higher education in Ukraine that specializes in food science, food engineering, restaurant business, and commodity science.

National University Yaroslav the Wise Law Academy of Ukraine
Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University is home to 23,000 students.  The University’s scholars directly participated in the development of the Constitution of Ukraine and actively influence law enforcement practice in the country.


Kharkiv National Medical University
KNMU was founded in 1805 as the medical faculty of Kharkiv University.  It is one of the oldest and leading medical institutions of Ukraine and the former USSR. 

Kharkiv O.M. Beketov National University of Municipal Services
At NUUE, over 12,000 students study in departments such as Architecture, Economic Theory, Chemistry, Physics, Transport Systems, Tourism, and more.

V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University
Kharkiv National University was founded in 1804 and is home to over 12,000 students.  It covers virtually all areas of modern research, such as the Research Institutes of Chemistry, Biology, and Astronomy, the Institute of Physics and Engineering, and the Institute of High Technologies.


H.S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University
Named for the Ukrainian and Russian philosopher Gregory Skovoroda, the history of Kharkiv National Pedagogical University dates back to 1803.  Today, over 10,000 students study in one of the nine institutes of the University.


National Pharmaceutical University
Founded in 1805, NUPh is one of the oldest higher educational establishments in Europe for pharmaceutical education. 


Kharkiv Polytechnical Institute
Founded in 1885, Kharkiv Polytechnical Institute is the 2nd-oldest technical university in the former Russian Empire.  Over 18,000 students study in one of the 23 available departments. 

Kharkiv National University of Radioelectronics
Home to over 12,000 students, KNURE specializes in electrical engineering, electronics, telecommunications, ICT and computer technologies.
